Brief introduction of the speaker:
Xu Yingxiang is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Northeast Normal University; executive director of Jilin National Center for Applied Mathematics (Northeast Normal University); and head of the computational mathematics direction of Northeast Normal University's mathematics first-class subject construction. In 2005, he received a Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Mathematics, Jilin University, and he was a visiting scholar at the University of Geneva, Switzerland (2010.09-2011.06, 2012.10-2013.02) and the University of Kansas (2018.08-2019.08). His main research directions are domain decomposition algorithms, numerical analysis of branching problems, etc. Published many papers in important journals such as SINUM, MCOM, SISC, JDE, etc.
