Report title: On the Symmetry of Riemann-Finsler Spaces
Reporter: Professor Deng Shaoqiang, School of Mathematical Sciences, Nankai University
Reporting time: September 8, 2020 9:00-10:00

Report summary:
The study of symmetry has always been one of the central topics in the filed of geometry. In this talk, we will present some results on the symmetry of Riemann-Finsler spaces. The main topics will include symmetric spaces, weakly symmetric spaces and geodesic orbit spaces. We will show that there is no intermediate stage between symmetric spaces and weakly symmetric spaces.
